5 Easy Tips to Improve Your SEO

When creating your online website, one of your main goals should be to optimize your reach. The more people you reach, the more clients you have, the more money you make...etc...you get the picture. That’s where SEO comes in. Think of SEO like your popularity online. There are things you can do and improve to make sure you can keep your reach strong.

There are tons of different ways to improve SEO, but these 5 tips are quick and easy to implement.

1. Content

The first thing is making sure that your content is user friendly ! Good quality content keeps the user on your page. Good quality content is also content the reader wants to save! When a reader bookmarks your page, your rankings go up.

You also want your content to be shareable . When content is useful and easy to understand, the chances of it being shared and saved for others to see is high. Above all other SEO tips, ensuring that your content is good quality will do the most in getting and retaining new customers.

2. Image Optimization

When you are adding images to your page, make sure you are adding keywords to the title of the photo. This is yet another way to drive traffic to your page.

This can easily be done by adding keywords to your image title, alt tag, caption, and description.

3. Include Links

Outbound links - If you want to provide more in-depth information to your readers, make sure you include outbound links to verified and trusted sources.

Inbound links - Include links to other posts that are relevant and readers want to look at. This is a great way to increase the amount of time they are spending on your site.

4. Readability

Make sure your content is easily accessible for people of all backgrounds. There’s nothing more annoying than reading a post full of words you don’t understand, phrases that aren’t explained, or ideas that are just too difficult to digest. An easy to understand post increases the usefulness to readers ten-fold.

I’ve done 15+ photoshoots at this point… but these photos? How beautiful is it that we live in a world of seasons? (And how incredible is it that as women, we emulate nature by having our own set of seasons during our cycle too!!) In the last few years, I’ve really come to appreciate that each season has a purpose. None are better or worse than the other and each are necessary. And there is something absolutely beautiful about living your life according to the seasons and finding the beauty in each. I am grateful for winter because it forces us all to slow down. Be cozy. Take time to reflect. Rest is not earned, it is a human requirement. It’s a time to take care of your body and perhaps try your hand at new creative projects 🌨️ I am grateful for spring and the new beginnings it brings. The world slowly comes alive and encourages you to open windows, try new things, make plans, and be grateful for the warmth of sunshine. It is a season that brings new LIFE! 🌷 I am grateful for summer and the energy it brings. The days are long and the world feels limitless. It’s a time to take action, take risks, eat nourishing food from the Earth, and enjoy the extra long days 🌞 And lastly, I am grateful for fall. Fall is a time for preparation and harvest.
